Where Ole Miss’ Jaxson Dart is ranked among QBs in 2025 NFL Draft by Mel Kiper, other experts

OXFORD — After a highlight-filled career at Ole Miss football, quarterback Jaxson Dart is preparing for the 2025 NFL Draft.

After beginning his career at USC, the Kaysville, Utah, product developed into an NFL draft candidate in his three years at Ole Miss under coach Lane Kiffin.

Dart departs Ole Miss as the program’s all-time passing leader. He broke Eli Manning’s record in the 2024 Egg Bowl game against Mississippi State that the Rebels won 26-14. Dart won the 2024 Conerly Trophy, which is awarded to the best college player in Mississippi. He was a USA Today All-SEC first-team selection.

Dart racked up 10,617 passing yards and 1,500 rushing yards with Ole Miss. He threw for 72 touchdowns, 29 of which came this season. He has exuded enough potential for Charlie Weis Sr. to declare that Dart will be a first-round pick.

ESPN’s Mel Kiper ranks Dart as the No. 3 quarterback behind Cam Ward (Miami) and Shedeur Sanders (Colorado).

ESPN’s Jordan Reid ranks Dart as the No. 6 quarterback in the class, and tabs him as a late pick in round three or an early pick in round four. Reid ranks Dart behind Ward, Sanders, Jalen Milroe (Alabama), Dillon Gabriel (Oregon) and Quinn Ewers (Texas).

Like Kiper, Daniel Jeremiah of NFL.com has Dart as the No. 3 quarterback in the class. Jeremiah ranks Dart as the No. 41 player in the class overall with Ward (No. 10) and Sanders (No. 11) having first-round grades.

Dart is the No. 4 quarterback according to CBS Sports. Ward, Sanders and Milroe are ranked above him.
