Georgia football coaches have hit the road and taken to the air this month recruiting 2026 prospects.
The Bulldogs landed their fifth commitment for that class on Thursday when IMG Academy four-star safety Zech Fort announced his commitment to Georgia via On3.
The Long Beach, Calif., native who plays at the Bradenton, Fla., school becomes the fifth 2026 commitment for the Bulldogs.
The 5-foot-10, 190-pound safety is rated the nation’s No. 104 overall prospect by the 247Sports Composite and the No. 8 safety.
Fort picked Georgia over Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Notre Dame and Ohio State, according to On3.
“They are top coaches, they produce top players and Georgia is a top program that will compete for national championships every year,” Fort told On3 “Who wouldn’t want to go to Georgia?”
Georgia’s current roster includes IMG Academy products in cornerbacks Daylen Everette and Ellis Robinson and outside linebacker Gabe Harris.
