Is Texas A&M a favorite to win the 2025 CWS National Championship?

The 2025 Texas A&M baseball season begins with a new coach, Mike Earley, leading a highly talented roster. This follows the dramatic departure of former head coach Jim Schlossnagle, who memorably took over the Texas Longhorns baseball shortly after the Aggies’ defeat in the CWS Championship last summer. The team is now ready to face the always-challenging SEC landscape.

This week, the Aggies held their first full practice inside Blue Bell Park as several new additions to the roster, including infielders Gavin Kash and Wyatt Henseler, join start hitters Jace LaViolette and Gavin Grahovic in a battling lineup that is difficult to put together, as nearly every starter hit over .300 last season. At the same time, sophomore outfielder Caden Sorrell is talented enough to lead the team in several categories.

On the mound, ace pitcher Ryan Prager returns after being selected in the 3rd round of the 2024 MLB Draft, while starters Justin Lamkin and newcomer Myles Patton lead the way. However, the bullpen is relatively young and untested.

Still, this looks like the best team in the country when healthy, and the latest betting odds agree as Circa Sports released its latest College World Series National Championship odds, and, to no surprise, the Aggies lead the Way. Here are every SEC team’s 2025 title odds:
