LSU football’s offensive line will look different in 2024. The Tigers are losing four starters from the 2024 unit. Both tackles — Will Campbell and Emery Jones — declared early for the NFL Draft. Both guards — Miles Frazier and Garrett Dellinger — graduated and are off to the pros.
LSU returns center DJ Chester, but it’s not clear where Chester will play. It’s possible every spot on LSU’s offensive line has a different player than the line LSU began 2024 with.
That doesn’t mean the group lacks experience. LSU hit the transfer portal for two of the top available linemen. Former Northwestern guard/tackle Josh Thompson and former Virginia Tech center/guard Braelin Moore signed with LSU and are expected to start.
Dellinger missed the back half of the season, which allowed players like Paul Mubenga and Tyree Adams to get some reps. Opt-outs in the bowl game led to even more opportunities.
Talented players like Coen Echols and Weston Davis return, too. Both were highly touted recruits who will be redshirt freshman in 2025.
LSU has options, it’s just about where the pieces fit now.

With Will Campbell opting out of the bowl game, Adams got the nod at left tackle. He showed flashes as a pass blocker, though there were some mental mistakes. As a run blocker, he was inconsistent but the talent was still evident.
