The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to elite wide receiver recruit Travis Johnson. Johnson, a member of the class of 2026, is ranked as a four-star recruit.
The 6-foot-3, 165-pound wide receiver plays high school football for Oscar Smith High School in Chesapeake, Virginia. Johnson is ranked as the No. 128 recruit in the nation, the No. 17 wide receiver and the No. 3 prospect in Virginia in the 2026 recruiting cycle.
Johnson plans to visit the South Carolina Gamecocks later this year and his just did a visit with the Michigan Wolverines. The Penn State Nittany Lions have also shown significant interest in the talented receiver. The Virginia Cavaliers are another school to watch in Johnson’s recruitment according to 247Sports.
The Oscar Smith standout has been very productive in high school. Johnson posted over 1,000 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns as a sophomore. The elite receiver has good speed and the ability to win contested catches over defenders.
Georgia currently has five commitments in the class of 2026. UGA has the No. 12 ranked recruiting class in the country. Johnson announced his scholarship offer from Georgia football via social media.
