6 underrated offensive prospects in 2025 NFL draft

The 2025 NFL draft is still almost three months away but the league is in full evaluation mode. Last week were the Shrine Bowl and Senior Bowl. NFL draft analysts are pumping out early mock drafts.

Who are the players to know?

ESPN draft analysts Mel Kiper Jr. and Field Yates, on their podcast “First Draft,” had an episode about underrated prospects in the draft. They went over offensive and defensive players.

They named six offensive players who probably are not first-round picks but certainly are names to know.

Who are those guys?

UCF RB R.J. Harvey

Harvey averaged a Big 12-leading 6.8 yards per carry last season and had a conference-high 22 rushing touchdowns in 2024, rushing for a total of 1,577 yards. He played quarterback in high school and showed off those skills with a 25-yard touchdown pass in the Senior Bowl.

Miami WR Xavier Restrepo

Yates sees Restrepo as a force slot receiver. He is only 5-foot-10 but has a strong frame at 195 pounds. He led the ACC with 1,127 receiving yards and 11 touchdown catches. He not only has great footwork and gets open, he also has physicality and strength, something the Cardinals didn’t get from Greg Dortch in the slot. He holds the records at Miami for the most catches and receiving yards.
