While Notre Dame football defeated the Indiana Hoosiers in the first round of the College Football Playoff in December, it looks like the other in-state power is reaping the benefits of the Irish’s success.
The Hoosiers have already added one former Notre Dame offensive lineman in Pat Coogan, and could be on their way to adding another. According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Rocco Spindler has shut down his visits and will most likely land at either Nebraska, Pittsburgh, Virginia or Indiana.
At one point he had some interest in his home state school Michigan, but it seems like that visit has won’t take place and they are out of consideration. Of the schools that Spindler is still considering, it does seem like the Hoosiers would be his best bet to make it to the CFP for the second time in his career.
We will soon find out which team Spindler will try and finish his collegiate career with.
