Heading into Senior Bowl week, Alabama football quarterback Jalen Milroe’s goals were clear.
He wanted to show what he could do, not being one-dimensional in his playing style and showing what he’s learned from playing each week against top SEC defenses.
“I just try and trust in the process, buy into who I am as a person and keep building each and every day, because each and every day I have the opportunity to play the game of football, I’m going to try and appreciate it,” Milroe told reporters. “I’m going to keep trying to put my best foot forward.”

In the 2025 Senior Bowl Saturday at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Milroe started the second half, and struggled.
Milroe completed three of his five pass attempts for 18 yards. He added three carries for 11 yards as a runner, but was sacked three times.
Alabama and the American Team beat the National Team 22-19 in the 2025 Senior Bowl.
Milroe will try and be the first Alabama quarterback selected in the NFL draft since Bryce Young was selected with the No. 1 overall pick by the Carolina Panthers in 2023.
Each of the last three Alabama quarterbacks drafted — Young, Mac Jones and Tua Tagovailoa — were selected in the first round. A.J. McCarron, a fifth-round pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2014, was the most recent Alabama quarterback selected later than the first round.

Milroe was not the only Alabama representative on the field Saturday afternoon.
