It’s a big recruiting weekend for LSU football. Several of the nation’s top prospects are on campus. That includes 2027 running back Jayden Miles, who earned an LSU offer on Saturday.
Miles is in LSU’s backyard, playing his high school football at Catholic High — a Baton Rouge football factory. Miles holds offers from big programs like Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Florida State. Now, LSU gets in the mix.
LSU running backs coach Frank Wilson is one of the Tigers’ top recruiters, especially in the state of Louisiana. With Wilson leading the way, LSU should be considered the favorite for Miles’ services.
With the 2025 recruiting class in the rearview mirror, LSU coaches have turned their attention to 2026 and 2027. Most of the 2026 prospects are already on the map, but this is a critical time for evaluating the 2027 class.
According to On3, Miles already has SEC size at 6-2, 200-pounds. If he continues to progress, he’ll finish as one of the top running backs in the class of 2027.
