Ole Miss Rebels quarterback Jaxson Dart named the Georgia Bulldogs’ Sanford Stadium as the top environment he ever played in during his college career.
Of course, Dart and Ole Miss hosted Georgia in 2024, so his memorable game against Georgia came in 2023. The Bulldogs dominated Ole Miss 52-17 on a day when “College GameDay” came into town. Georgia fans had a lot to cheer about on that cool November evening. Georgia outscored Ole Miss 52-10 after the Rebels scored first.
The blowout loss made Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin rethink how he built his team. Kiffin focused more on the trenches last offseason and it paid off. Ole Miss beat Georgia 28-10 in 2024, but the Rebels missed the College Football Playoff after losing at Florida late in the season.
“One that definitely sticks out is Death Valley (LSU) at night. College Station (Texas A&M) is incredible, but the best atmosphere that I’ve played in was Athens, Georgia, 2023 senior night blackout game and it was Brock Bowers’ return, so that place was freaking electric,” said Dart in an interview at the Senior Bowl.
When people say “Athens don’t be rocking” or “Sanford Stadium isn’t loud” let’s see what former Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart has to say about that 👀 pic.twitter.com/PLIA6XjKaa
