Auburn football has succeeded on the recruiting trail since Hugh Freeze took over the program ahead of the 2023 season. The Tigers look to continue its momentum in the 2026 cycle by welcoming the No. 1 quarterback of the class for an official visit.
According to a report by Jeffrey Lee of Auburn Live, five-star quarterback Jared Curtis will take an official visit to Auburn during the weekend of May 16-18. His official visit to Auburn will kick off a string of official visits that will include Oregon (June 6-8), Georgia (June 13-15), and South Carolina (June 20-22).
Auburn has been actively recruiting Curtis since his de-commitment from Georgia last October. Since then, Curtis has visited Auburn and quarterbacks coach Kent Austin has visited Curtis’ home. Last month, Curtis included Auburn in his top six along with Georgia, Alabama, Oregon, Ohio State, and South Carolina.
Curtis is a five-star quarterback according to On3, ESPN, and Rivals, and is the consensus No. 1 overall recruit from Tennessee for the 2026 cycle. Ohio State and Georgia remain the top contenders to land Curtis, but Auburn will look to make a splash during May’s visit.
