The Iowa Hawkeyes’ 2025 recruiting class picked up a late addition just before national signing day.
Class of 2025 defensive back Jacob Wallace announced his pledge to the Hawkeyes on Sunday afternoon, choosing Iowa over offers from Ohio, Temple, USF, West Virginia, Akron, Central Michigan, Howard, Marshall and New Hampshire.
A 5-foot-11, 175 pound defensive back, Wallace is regarded as a three-star commit per 247Sports. 247Sports ranks Wallace as the No. 28 player from the state of Maryland.
Wallace joins the black and gold via DeMatha Catholic in Hyattsville, Md.
Wallace joins Charles Bell out of St. Thomas More in Connecticut, O’Lontae Dean from Armwood High School in Florida and Drew MacPherson via Loyola Academy in Illinois as defensive backs in the Hawkeyes’ 2025 class.
