Former Texas A&M co-defensive coordinator and linebacker coach Tyler Santucci has been hired as the new LB coach for the Baltimore Ravens per Ian Rapoport.
Santucci is seen as one of the young talents in the college football world and has risen through the ranks after starting his college coaching career in 2010 as a grad assistant at his alma mater Stony Brook.
From there he had stints at Wake Forest, Texas State, and Notre Dame. Texas A&M fans became aware of Santucci when he took over as the LB coach from 2020-2022 before leaving to join Mike Elko for the 2023 college football season. He recently just completed his sole season at Georgia Tech as the DC where his defense jumped from the 123rd-ranked defense to the 42nd in the nation.
He will take over for Marj DeLeone and the Ravens are thrilled to have him on staff to kick off the 2025 NFL season.
“We are excited about the addition of Tyler, who has excelled as a collegiate coach and is fully prepared to make the jump to this level, Tyler’s knowledge, passion and collaborative qualities fit seamlessly within the culture of our coaching staff, and we’re excited for him to lead our linebackers group.”
