Georgia Bulldogs linebacker CJ Allen is set to visit with SEC commissioner Greg Sankey. He will be representing Georgia for the SEC Football Leadership Council annual meaning.
The Football Leadership Council of the SEC involves 16 representatives; one representative from each team. The players will meet with commissioner Sankey to review SEC and NCAA legislative terms, engaging with football officials or rules of the game, student athlete/referee interaction, and careers in officiating, with a presentation from motivational speaker Timothy Alexander.
The SEC also has women’s and men’s basketball leadership councils. These three councils, along with the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) provide a chance for student athletes to engage with campus leaders and conference office staff.
Allen was used as a rotational linebacker for his freshman year before becoming a starter as a sophomore in 2024. He made several highlight plays down the stretch and Georgia fans are looking for him to break out in a big way in 2025.
