LSU football is building its support staff.
On Monday, LSU hired ECU analyst Noah Joseph as a defensive analyst per a report from 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz. Joseph wasn’t with ECU for long. He joined the Pirates in December, but then LSU came calling. A 247Sports report said Joseph was looking to get back on the coaching side of things rather than working as a general manager.
Joseph has major college football coaching experience, working a Missouri, Rutgers, and Indiana.
Joseph has prior experience with LSU defensive coordinator Blake Baker after the two worked together at Missouri.
LSU’s staff has seen minimal movement this offseason. The only change to the on-field staff is the arrival of tight ends coach and run game coordinator Alex Atkins. On the support staff level, LSU has seen a few analysts come and go.
Joseph wasn’t the only analyst to join LSU on Monday. The Tigers also made an addition on the offensive side of the ball.
