Notre Dame predicted to land 2026 wide receiver, son of former NFL star TE

Notre Dame football is really starting to make a habit of going after son’s of former NFL stars.

At the current moment, there are multiple on the roster like safety Kennedy Urlacher and defensive end Bryce Young, and incoming freshman safety JaDon Blair, wide receivers Elijah Burress and Jerome Bettis Jr.

The pipeline of NFL son’s to South Bend is strong and if On3’s Mike Singer is correct, another one could be on the way in the 2026 class. Texas wide receiver Kaydon Finley, son of former NFL tight end Jermichael, was predicted to eventually commit to Notre Dame.

The 6-foot and 200-pound prospect is considered one of the best in the country, as the younger Finley is ranked No. 78 overall by the 247Sports Composite Rankings. The Irish already have one commitment at the position in that cycle, Dylan Faison, and it very well looks like one more will be added sometime in the future if the prediction is correct.
