Where does Florida football’s recruiting class rank nationally ahead of February signing day?

The close to the recruiting season is officially here for Florida football.

February’s National Signing Day is fast approaching. Even though the occasion has lost much of its hype due to the emergence of Early National Signing Day in December, it still presents one last opportunity for Billy Napier and the Gators to secure the final uncommitted recruits — and maybe even those that are committed.

The Gators nailed one down on Tuesday as Tennessee commit Onis Konanbanny, a 2025 four-star CB from Columbia, South Carolina, flipped his commitment from the Vols to the Gators, pushing Florida higher up in the national rankings.

Where does Florida football’s 2025 recruiting class rank nationally?

Florida’s 2025 recruiting class currently ranks No. 7 in the country, according to 247sports.com. Counting transfers, UF’s overall ranking is No. 10. It is currently the Gators’ best class since the 3rd-ranked class in 2013 — a class that included Vernon Hargreaves III and Alex Anzalone. Florida is No. 5 in the SEC, behind Texas, Georgia and Alabama (the top three teams) and No. 6 Auburn.

Florida football 2025 signing class

Like most top programs, Napier and Co. formed much of the Class of 2025 in December on Early Signing Day and in the weeks after. The Gators’ recruiting class ranked in the mid-50s prior to the win over then-No. 22 LSU on November 16.

It began to shoot up, though, during the squad’s four-game win streak to end the season, solidifying at No. 7. According to 247Sports, Florida doesn’t have any five-star commits, but it features 10 four-stars, led by Orlando-Jones wide receiver Vernell Brown III.
