Jacksonville State football added 12 new signees under Charles Kelly during the NCAA national signing day.
Five of those athletes hailed from the state of Alabama with a few coming from the surrounding area in Northeast Alabama including Gadsden Times Small Class Player of the Year Luke Gilbert and all-area athlete Jameson Scissum, who will play both baseball and football for the Gamecocks.
Outside of Alabama, Kelly brought in multiple three star recruits including New Jersey Gatorade Player of the Year Jack Moran at quarterback. Moran threw for 4,500 yards during his senior season.

Khari Bendolph, Naples HS (Naples, Fla.)
Linebacker
A First Team Naples Daily News selection, Bendolph had 112 tackles as a senior with 10 for a loss and four sacks.
JQ Brooks, Hueytown HS (Hueytown, Ala.)
Cornerback
Brooks is a three star recruit according to 247 Sports and was a North-South All-Star game selection.
Temarion Foster, Inlet Grove HS (Riveria Beach, Fla.)
Defensive Back
Foster already enrolled with the Gamecocks and had 11 pass breakups as a three-star prospect.
Gabe Glover, Houston Academy (Dothan, Ala.)
Wide Receiver
Glover caught 69 passes for 1,636 yards and 25 touchdowns on the year leading the Raiders to the Class 3A state title game where he had 180 yards and two touchdowns.
Luke Gilbert, Pisgah HS (Pisgah, Ala.)
Tight End
The Gadsden Times Small Class Player of the Year accounted for 3,354 yards and 42 touchdowns and will be switching to tight end for the Gamecocks, he earned all-state as a receiver as a sophomore.
