Five-star tight end recruit Kaiden Prothro could be the next elite tight end recruit to commit to the Georgia Bulldogs. Prothro, a member of the class of 2026, recently included Georgia in his top five schools.
Prothro’s top schools are Georgia, Texas, Auburn, Alabama and Florida.
The talented tight end has a May 30 official visit with UGA. He also has official visits to Alabama on June 6, Auburn on June 10 and Florida on June 13.
The 6-foot-6, 210-pound tight end recruit plays high school football for Bowdon High School in Bowdon, Georgia. Prothro is ranked as the No. 21 recruit in the class of 2026 and the second-ranked tight end. The Bowdon standout is the second-best player in Georgia, per 247Sports.
Prothro plays basketball and baseball in addition to football. Prothro is a star basketball player for Bowdon and posted a 30-point, 20-rebound game this season. He’s a good student with a 3.8 GPA per his social media account.
Prothro and Bowdon won a Class A state championship in Georgia during the 2024 high school season. Prothro posted over 1,200 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns to lead Bowdon to a championship.
Georgia just signed a pair of top tight end recruits in the class of 2025 and is looking to follow that up in the 2026 cycle.
