That didn’t take very long.
After announcing on Jan. 20 that Ayoka Lee is out indefinitely with a foot injury, Kansas State looked vulnerable for the first time all season. It suffered a 63-53 road loss to Colorado just five days later in the absence of its star center, who leads the team in points, rebounds and blocks per game.
But the Wildcats have bounced back. No. 10-ranked Kansas State has won three straight games since then, including a 59-50 home win over No. 9 TCU on Wednesday.

What to know: No. 10 Kansas State got back to business with wins over Iowa State (87-79 OT), Kansas (91-64) and No. 9 TCU (59-50). The Wildcats were led by Serena Sundell, who averaged 19 points and 5.7 assists during that stretch on 55.8% shooting from the field.

What to know: OSU dropped from No. 25 in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll following its 54-37 road loss to then-No. 20 West Virginia on Saturday. It was a day to forget for the Cowgirls, who scored less than half of their season average (80.6 points) entering the contest.
