Big 12 football power rankings 2025: Arizona State not at top of early conference rankings

As the defending Big 12 champion, the Arizona State Sun Devils are going to open the 2025 Big 12 season schedule with a target on their backs.

But how big will that target be?

Maybe not as big as some would think, according to early Big 12 football power rankings for next season.

Some early lists for the conference don’t have Arizona State atop the power rankings in the Big 12 — instead putting BYU as the team to beat (which goes against the latest Big 12 football championship odds).
