Updated SEC Power Rankings after Texas A&M’s 67-64 road win over Missouri

The SEC is in top form during the 2024-2025 season, as nine teams in the conference are ranked in the AP Top 25, including Texas A&M at No. 10. This week, the Aggies took care of business against No. 15 Missouri on the road, defeating the Tigers 67-64 after star guard Wade Taylor IV hit a game-winning 3-pointer with just over two seconds left.

On paper, Texas A&M is an NCAA Tournament lock at 18-5 and 7-3 in SEC play, while ten out of sixteen teams in the conference are considered locks for bubble teams. This weekend, the Aggies’ win over Missouri was the upset of the day, while Florida’s semi-shocking victory over No. 1 Auburn will likely shift the rankings, especially after Duke’s loss to Clemson.

With eight games remaining in the regular season, Texas A&M needs only to keep pace and accumulate as many wins as possible. Still, knowing their place in the NCAA Tournament is all but secure, the Aggies will continue to play confidently.

After this week’s results, the latest SEC Power Rankings are much more fluid from top to bottom, a minor shift after Texas A&M’s impressive victory:
