3-star WR Zachary Washington locks in official visit to MSU

Michigan State football will be hosting one of the top wide receivers from Illinois in the 2026 for an official visit in early June.

Zachary Washington of Wheaton, Ill. has locked in an official visit to Michigan State in early June. He posted a graphic on his social media X account that states he’ll visit Michigan State on the weekend of June 6.

Washington is a three-star prospect in the 2026 class, and holds an 87 rating on 247Sprots.

Washington ranks as the No. 79 wide receiver in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2026 class. He’s also listed as the No. 12 player from Illinois and No. 515 overall prospect in the class.

Michigan State recently extended Washington an offer in late January. According to 247Sports, Washington holds scholarship offers from 20 programs. Some of the more notable programs to offer Washington are Illinois, Indiana, Kansas State, Louisville, Miami (FL), Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Purdue, Syracuse, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
