Michigan football brought in an elite offensive line class in 2025 with two five-stars in Andrew Babalola and Ty Haywood, four-star Avery Gach, and three-star Kaden Strayhorn. The Wolverines hope to continue to build from the inside out, strengthening the trenches so that they may ‘Smash!’ as is the wont of head coach Sherrone Moore.
Though much has been quiet in terms of 2026 recruiting (the maize and blue have but two commitments — a cornerback and a wide receiver) thus far. But with prospects now starting to figure out their unofficial and official visit plans, the Wolverines are in good shape with one elite prospect along the offensive line.
2026 Mansfield (Tx.) Lake Ridge four-star offensive tackle Felix Ojo is one of those players atop just about every major school’s board. On Thursday, he revealed his top eight schools and Michigan football made the cut.
Still, there is a lot of hefty competition for the nation’s No. 29 (247Sports) player. Texas, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma, and Ole Miss also made the cut for Ojo.

Tall offensive tackle prospect who’s very young for his recruiting class with a July DOB. Verified at 6-foot-6, 272 pounds post-junior season with adequate length numbers in arm (33 5/8) and wingspan (81 1/2). Owns a lean, athletic look and plays with impressive functional athleticism and movement ability. Live evaluation during 2025 Navy Army All-American Bowl revealed a consistent mean streak in pads. Stood out physically, athletically, and in field demeanor despite being among the youngest competitors in the event.
