Mountain View Prep running back Jaylen McGill decommitted from Rutgers University on Wednesday morning via X, formerly known as Twitter.
McGill committed to Rutgers in late January after an unofficial visit.
His post states, “I feel like the Lord has called me someplace else. I’ve prayed about this decision and reflected on my decision. With that being said, I’m choosing to reopen my recruitment, and I’m decommitting from the University of Rutgers.”
