There will be more Ducks than ever before at the NFL Scouting Combine later this month.
A program-record 12 former Oregon football players were among the 329 who received an invitation to the annual showcase for the top draft-eligible college players that will take place Feb. 24-March 3 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Quarterback Dillon Gabriel, running back Jordan James, wide receivers Tez Johnson and Traeshon Holden, tight end Terrance Ferguson, offensive linemen Josh Conerly Jr. and Ajani Cornelius, defensive linemen Jordan Burch, Derrick Harmon and Jamaree Caldwell, linebacker Jeffrey Bassa and cornerback Jabbar Muhammad all received invites.
Oregon wide receiver Tez Johnson celebrates a touchdown as the Ducks host the Boise State Broncos Sept. 7, 2024, at Autzen Stadium. Twelve former Ducks were invited to this year’s NFL Scouting Combine.
The previous program record for invites was seven, which has happened six times including in 2024.
Also invited were a handful of former Oregon players who finished their college careers elsewhere — quarterback Tyler Shough (Louisville), receiver Dont’e Thornton (Tennessee), tight end Moliki Matavao (UCLA) and defensive end Bradyn Swinson (LSU).
Oregon State offensive lineman Joshua Gray also received an invitation.
