Texas A&M football recruiting: Jermaine Kinsler, a 4-star DL, commits to Aggies

The Texas A&M football program gained a big-time recruit Thursday when four-star defensive lineman Jermaine Kinsler from Oradell, New Jersey, committed to the Aggies.

The 6-foot-7, 270-pound class of 2026 prospect chose the Aggies over Penn State, Michigan and Ohio State.

The commitment was first reported by On3.

It’s a big grab for A&M on the recruiting trail following the de-commitment of four-star TE Xavier Tiller, who announced he was stepping away from his Aggies pledge on Tuesday.

The Aggies 2026 recruiting class gets a boost. As of Thursday, 247Sports ranks A&M fourth in the country. Prior to Kinsler’s commitment, A&M had three other defensive line prospects committed to the class, with Georgia edge Jordan Carter leading the group, followed by California native Samu Moala and North Carolina native Trashawn Ruffin, all of whom are four-star recruits.

A&M doesn’t currently have a five-star commit in the class but is anchored by seven four-star recruits, including Georgia wide receiver AJ Gregory and California tight end Caleb Tafua.

The Aggies are now deep into the offseason, with spring practices set to begin soon.
