Which former Penn State football players are headed to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine

Another Top 10 Penn State football defense will be represented at the annual NFL Scouting Combine later this month.

Four of the five former Nittany Lions who’ve been invited to showcase their talents played for a defense that led a charge to a school-record 13 victories and a place in the College Football Playoff semifinals.

Defensive end Abdul Carter, linebacker Kobe King and safeties Jaylen Reed and KJ Winston − along with star tight end Tyler Warren − will represent Penn State during the week of interviews, measuring and workouts at the combine in Indianapolis (Feb. 26 through March 3).

The event is the primary evaluation event for the NFL Draft in late April.

The Nittany Lions annually feature combine stars, guided by one of the top strength and conditioning rooms in the nation.

Penn State football: How will KJ Winston perform after injury?

KJ Winston played in just two games for the Lions last season after reportedly suffering a knee injury that required surgery.
