Georgia football has entered the recruitment of four-star wide receiver recruit Dyzier Carter, a current Rutgers commit. Carter, a highly-rated prospect from Louisa County High School in Virginia, expressed excitement about the Georgia offer and acknowledged UGA’s national prominence. While committed to Rutgers, Carter remains open to exploring other options, including an official visit to Georgia. He recently received a scholarship offer from Georgia.
“An offer from Georgia boosts your confidence in the hard work you put in during the offseason when no one is looking,” Carter said in an interview with On3’s Steve Wiltfong (subscription required). “Georgia is one of the premier teams in the SEC. That catches my eye.”
Carter is a dynamic playmaker who excels as both a receiver and rusher. He enjoyed a breakout junior season with 28 receptions for 736 yards and nine touchdowns. He rushed for five more scores. The 6-foot, 180-pound receiver ran back a punt for a touchdown and did the same with an interception. His versatility and big-play ability have attracted significant interest from top programs across the country.
Carter is considered a top five recruit in Virginia across all recruiting services and is a top 25 receiver in the country, per 247Sports.
