The Oklahoma Sooners 2026 recruiting class has an offensive flair so far. Each of OU’s four commitments are on the offensive side of the ball led by four-star quarterback Jaden O’Neal. The Sooners have one wide receiver commitment this cycle in four-star prospect Daniel Odom, but are also pursuing several big-time prospects, including Davian Groce out of Frisco Lone Star.
One name that Emmitt Jones will have to move up his 2026 recruiting board is Ethan “Boobie” Feaster, who announced that he’s reclassifying from the 2027 class. Feaster was a five-star prospect in the 2027 recruiting cycle and is now considered a consensus four-star prospect in the 2026 class. He’s a top 10 wide receiver prospect according to 247Sports and Rivals.
According to Hayes Fawcett of On3, Oklahoma is among the 12 schools still in he running to land a commitment from Feaster. Along with the Sooners, the top 12 includes Colorado, Texas, SMU, LSU, USC, Oregon, Texas A&M, Miami, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Alabama.
Feaster is a dynamic playmaker who can win in the short area passing game or get behind a defense with his speed. He’s got great lateral agility and displays good hands. He shows good competitive toughness, making catches in traffic and a strong ability to track the ball in the air. Feaster has breakaway speed and can take a screen pass the distance while making defenders miss in the open field.
He’ll be a tough get for the Oklahoma Sooners, but based on some of the comments he made back in the fall, Oklahoma has made a strong impression.
