On Thursday, the NFL announced the full list of prospects invited to its 2025 combine. Included among that list were three USC football players.
The first Trojan to earn a combine invite was offensive lineman Jonah Monheim. A four-year starter for the Trojans, Monheim played tackle, guard, and center during his time at USC.
Next up was running back Woody Marks. After four years at Mississippi State, Marks transferred to USC ahead of the 2024 season. In his lone year in Cardinal and Gold, Marks rushed for 1,133 yards and nine touchdowns.
Finally, defensive back Jaylin Smith was the lone USC defensive player to earn a combine invite. As a senior in 2025, Smith had 58 tackles, two passes defended, and two interceptions.
All three players are projected to go on day two or three of the draft. Assuming no USC player is selected in the first round, it would be the first time since 2019 that was the case.
In addition, several notable Trojans did not earn combine invites. Included in the snubs were linebackers Mason Cobb and Easton Mascarenas-Arnold, safety Akili Arnold, defensiive lineman Jamil Muhammad, and All-American punter Eddie Czaplicki.
The 2025 NFL combine will take place from February 27-March 2 in Indianapolis.
