Former Northwestern football standout Ben Fenell could get his first chance as a head coach this fall.
Fenell is on the Northwestern School Board agenda on Tuesday to become the new head coach of the football team.
Fenell graduated from Northwestern in 2002 and ended his high school career in the 2003 Save An Eye all-star game. After going to Edinboro, Fenell became an assistant coach at Conneaut Valley, East, Seneca and Northwestern before spending this past fall as the offensive coordinator for Conneaut.
