Michigan football makes top 10 for elite 2026 IOL

Michigan football had an impressive offensive line haul in the 2025 class with five-stars Andrew Babalola and Ty Haywood, four-star Avery Gach, and three-star Kaden Strayhorn, an MSU legacy who spurned his father’s heritage for his bitter rival.

Now, the Wolverines are hoping that 2026 matches the quality up front as the previous class.

Aside from the pursuit of No. 1 overall prospect in 2026 in Nixa (Mo.) five-star offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell, who is set to visit Ann Arbor again in March, the Wolverines are in a good position for 2026 Clearwater (Fla.) four-star interior offensive lineman Samuel Roseborough. Roseborough dropped his top 10 schools on Tuesday and the maize and blue made the cut.

But there’s hefty competition as Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, LSU, Florida State, Texas, Texas A&M, Alabama, and Penn State also round out his top 10.

Roseborough is rated by the 247Sports Composite as a four-star prospect at No. 110 overall, as well as the No. 8 interior offensive lineman and 15th-best player in the state of Florida. At this juncture, Michigan has just two commitments in 2026 in cornerback Brody Jennings and wide receiver Jaylen Pile.
