MSU Football makes 4-star LB Nick Abrams’ top schools list

Michigan State football is one of 15 schools still in the running for a big-time linebacker prospect in the 2026 class.

Nick Abrams of Owings Mills, Md. announced his top 15 schools last week, and Michigan State was in the mix. The Spartans were joined by a number of big-time programs, including Alabama, Georgia, Penn State, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Duke, South Carolina, Syracuse, Oregon, Maryland, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma and USC.

Abrams is a four-star prospect and ranked as the No. 18 linebacker in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2026. He is also listed as the No. 6 player from Maryland and No. 247 player overall in the class.

Michigan State extended an offer to Abrams last September, according to 247Sports. Michigan State is one of nearly 20 schools to offer Abrams.
