Ohio State football spring game tickets are on sale

Tickets have gone on sale for Ohio State’s 2025 version of a spring game.

The scrimmage, which is being called the Spring Showcase this year, will start at noon on April 12 at Ohio Stadium. Coach Ryan Day has not given details on the spring game format.

General admission is $8. Children under 6 will be admitted for free. Premium seats closest to the field cost $20. Tickets may be purchased through Ticketmaster.

Ohio State has pushed back the start of its spring practice because its run to the national championship lasted until Jan. 20. The Buckeyes typically begin spring practice the week before spring break. This year, they will start after the break and have a condensed schedule for the 15 practices.

Some other programs have decided against holding spring games this year, including Texas, USC and Nebraska. Reasons range from avoiding injuries to preventing opponents from being able to scout a nationally televised workout.
