Four-star linebacker recruit Izayia Williams plans to take an official visit to check out the Georgia Bulldogs from May 30-June 1. Williams, who recently announced his top five schools, plays high school football for Tavares High School in Leesburg, Florida.
The class of 2026 linebacker prospect’s top five schools are the Georgia Bulldogs, Penn State Nittany Lions, Florida Gators, Alabama Crimson Tide, and Florida State Seminoles. Williams has official visits scheduled with each of his top five schools and the Colorado Buffaloes.
Williams is ranked as the No. 91 recruit in the nation, the No. 7 linebacker and the No. 14 recruit in Florida. Georgia inside linebackers coach Glenn Schumann is among the best recruiters in the country and consistently lands multiple top linebacker recruits.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound linebacker is a key recruiting target for head coach Kirby Smart and Georgia, who will likely be looking to replenish their linebacker room after the 2025 college football season with players like CJ Allen and Raylen Wilson potentially heading to the NFL.
Williams has excellent speed. The Tavares standout recently ran a 4.41 second 40-yard dash.
