The next part of the college football offseason is coming up, which is the NFL Combine followed by the draft in late April.
There will be a few hundred players have been invited to the combine that will be held in Indianapolis. The typical college programs will be well-represented in 2025, including 12 Oregon Ducks. The dozen Ducks is a program record and most, if not all, are expected to be drafted.
A 13-1 overall record will make several NFL scouts do a double-take. Oregon had its fair share of NFL-quality talent on the field on both sides of the ball. Seven offensive players and five defensive players will make the trip to the Midwest as they will do a series of drills, measurements, and interviews with hopes of improving their draft stock.
Only two Big Ten teams, Ohio State and Oregon, have more than 10 players going to Indy. The newfound rivalry between the Ducks and Buckeyes seems to extend to the offseason as well. Expect this to be a recurring theme as the years go on.
