As the final week of February begins and the most consequential games of the 2024-25 college basketball season get closer, the SEC remains at the center of the sport and any discussion about it.
When it comes to shaping the NCAA Tournament picture, it will just mean more in the SEC.

No. 1 Auburn knocked off Arkansas and Georgia to improve its record to a Division I-best 25-2. No. 2 Florida has won nine of its past 10 after securing victories against Oklahoma and LSU. No. 6 Tennessee defeated No. 7 Texas A&M in a meeting of top-10 teams. The league showcased someone of its depth, too, with red-hot No. 16 Missouri blowing past No. 4 Alabama 110-98. The Crimson Tide recovered a few days later, beating No. 21 Kentucky 96-83.
