Three-star edge rusher C.J. Edwards committed to Tennessee football on Tuesday.
Edwards is a 6-foot-4, 215-pounder from Metuchen, New Jersey.
He chose the Vols over scholarship offers from more than a dozen schools, including Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, NC State, Pittsburgh and West Virginia.
Edwards is rated the No. 553 player overall and the No. 47 edge rusher in the 2026 class by 247Sports Composite.
He is the eighth commitment in UT’s 2026 class, which is led by five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon.
