Three Michigan football players in pre-NFL combine GMFB top 10

Despite having gone 8-5 in 2024, Michigan football had a lot of talent on its roster. Even then, the Wolverines won a lot of games without much of that talent on the field.

With the NFL scouting combine starting up in Indianapolis this week, the college football world is turning its eyes to the pro ranks, and with that, there’s a lot of wonder about which schools will dominate the NFL draft next month. And Good Morning Football’s Peter Schrager thinks that Michigan football will have a strong contingent who could be picked very early.

According to Schrager, who has two Penn State players in the top three, the Wolverines are still at the top with three players in his top 10. He has defensive tackle Mason Graham as his fifth-best player, tight end Colston Loveland at No. 9, and cornerback Will Johnson at No. 10.

Michigan managed to beat Ohio State without Loveland and Johnson in the lineup while it beat Alabama without all three players. Given that the maize and blue were able to beat the Crimson Tide without their top talent certainly gives hope for the future.
