A 4-1 weekend at the Easton Bama Bash was not enough to see Alabama softball move up in national polls.
In the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 Poll that was released on Tuesday, the Crimson Tide fell one spot from No. 21 to No. 22. It comes after the Crimson Tide won four of its five games over the weekend. It opened play with a 2-1 loss to Virginia Tech before winning four straight games in run-rule fashion: Southern Utah (9-1), Drake (19-0, 11-2) and Virginia Tech (9-1).
Alabama is one of 12 Southeastern Conference teams in the poll, alongside Oklahoma (1), Texas (2), Florida (3), Texas A&M (5), LSU (6), Tennessee (7), Georgia (11), Arkansas (12), Auburn (19), Mississippi State (20) and South Carolina (21).

Alabama continues play at Rhoads Stadium this weekend in the 2025 T-Mobile Crimson Classic. The Crimson Tide will play five games between Friday, Feb. 28 and Sunday, March 2, hosting a field of UAB, Furman and Southern Illinois.
