The latest episode of “The Tides That Bind: Inside Alabama football” — the six-part Fox Nation documentary — gave Crimson Tide fans an inside look at the program’s new leader and into major early-season storylines.
From the preseason through Alabama’s first loss to Vanderbilt, the episode showcases the return of Alabama offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor after a short transfer to Iowa, and the struggles of offensive tackle Wilkin Formby.
The third episode of The Tides That Bind: Inside Alabama football” is set to air March 5.

Kalen DeBoer takes center stage
Whether it was showcasing former Sioux Falls players coming to Tuscaloosa to visit their old coach, or showing his family away from the football field, Kalen DeBoer was front and center in the second episode of “The Tides That Bind.”
According to Trevor Holleman, one of DeBoer’s former players at Sioux Falls, DeBoer’s “passion” and “care” for his players is something he would always remember. It’s something DeBoer said he wanted to carry over into Alabama.
“This place is different than any other place. It really is,” DeBoer said. “That’s how it’s always been. You come in where there’s been success, and there’s championships that have been won, there’s a culture. And I feel equipped to balance things that I want to do with what has been done here.”
