2026 offensive line prospect schedules official visit to Tennessee

Tennessee is set to host another 2026 football prospect in the summer.

Four-star offensive lineman Deacon Schmitt will officially visit Tennessee on June 20. Schmitt was offered a scholarship by Tennessee on Dec. 3, 2024.

He scheduled a trio of visits in June, including to Oklahoma on June 6 and Nebraska on June 13.

The 6-foot-5, 320-pound prospect plays for Windsor High School in Windsor, Colorado. Windsor is east of Fort Collins, Colorado, home of Vols’ offensive lineman Gage Ginther. 247Sports ranks Schmitt as the No. 2 player in Colorado and the No. 30 offensive lineman in the class of 2026.

In addition to Tennessee and Oklahoma, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia and Vanderbilt are SEC schools that have offered Schmitt a scholarship. Colorado State was the first school to offer Schmitt a scholarship on Dec. 11, 2023.

The Vols have eight commitments for 2026: Quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver Tyreek King, tight end Carson Sneed, offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, wide receiver Tyran Evans, defensive lineman Tyson Bacon, linebacker Braylon Outlaw, and defensive lineman CJ Walker.
