Michigan State football has extended an offer to a defensive lineman prospect from Illinois.
Carmelow Reed of Olympia Fields, Ill. announced on Thursday that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. Reed announced the offer from Michigan State by posting on his social media X account.
Reed is currently an unranked prospect on 247Sports and Rivals. He plays for Rich Central High, and is listed at 6-foot-7 and 250 pounds.
Michigan State is one of nearly 10 schools to extend an offer to Reed, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Wisconsin, Cincinnati, Bowling Green, Miami (OH), Ohio, Sacramento State, San Diego State and Western Michigan.
