Alabama football officially has a kickoff time for A-Day.
Yea Alabama, the University of Alabama Name, Image and Likeness collective, announced that the Crimson Tide’s annual spring game will kick off at noon April 12 at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Alabama football later announced there would be no live broadcast, but that the spring game will be free to the public.
Alabama has not revealed its planned format for the game.
“A lot of times here, the A-Day Game, it’s been more of a practice, and there’s been some scrimmaging, not necessarily much of a game,” Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer told On3. “Even when I was at Fresno State, we called it the spring preview. Especially this year, there’s some things we’re working through with some injuries and so forth. So it’ll definitely be modified. We want to try to have some type of event around April 12.”
The Crimson Tide works out on the first day of practice for the 2024 season Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer presides over his team as the prep for his first season as head coach.
Regardless, it will be the first time Alabama fans have the chance to see the position battle at quarterback on full display, along with the program’s 18 early enrollees, including five-star quarterback Keelon Russell and five-star offensive lineman Michael Carroll.
