An elite 2026 offensive tackle will take a spring visit to Notre Dame

It wasn’t just a great weekend for Notre Dame football recruiting, the carryover continued with some huge news on Monday morning.

Felix Ojo, one of the top offensive tackles in the 2026 class, has announced that he will make a visit to South Bend according to a report by 247Sports Tom Loy. The 6-foot, 6-inch and 275-pound Texan will visit the Irish on April 10, followed by a trip to Ohio State and finishing off a three-day stretch by seeing the Florida Gators.

What’s interesting is that Loy calls Ojo’s visit to Notre Dame as the most important of the three, as he already has a Buckeye official visit scheduled and the expectations are that he will eventually lock one down to see the Gators. The nation’s No. 28 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings already has other official visits scheduled as well.

If Ojo leaves his day trip to South Bend with a good feeling, the hope is that he will add an official visit to return to see Notre Dame. If that is the case, you can firmly put the Irish as a contender for his signature.

Elite class of 2026 offensive tackle Felix Ojo, one of the top overall players in the country, has locked in three unofficial visits.

He’ll see Notre Dame, Ohio State and Florida.
