Duluth High School (Duluth, Georgia) four-star cornerback Peyton Dyer recruit committed to the South Carolina Gamecocks in Nov. and his commitment to the Gamecocks has never wavered. Now, in the last couple of weeks recruiting interest for Dyer has increased rather quickly for the talented cornerback.
The Georgia Bulldogs hosted Dyer on campus in the first week of February. The Bulldogs are now in the mix for Dyer and will receive an official visit from him on June 13.
“I had a great time at Georgia. I met with coach (Kirby) Smart, coach Donte (Williams) and we talked about a lot of things. We watched some film and they are one of my top schools. I will be taking an official visit there. With Georgia, it is the energy. The coaches are great, we have had some great talks and I look forward to getting back up there,” he said to On3 about Georgia (subscription required).
Dyer is ranked as the No. 326 recruit in the country, per 247Sports. The 6-foot, 190-pound defensive back is the No. 39 recruit in Georgia and the No. 27 cornerback prospect in the class of 2026.
USC, South Carolina, and Georgia are all in a race to receive Dyer’s services in the 2026 cycle.
