Four-star edge rusher recruit Ebenezer Ewetade has narrowed his list down to five schools, according to On3. Ewetade’s top schools are the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the North Carolina State Wolfpack, the Florida State Seminoles, the Alabama Crimson Tide, and the Georgia Bulldogs.
The four-star edge rusher is a member of the class of 2026. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound defender plays high school football for the South Garner in Garner, North Carolina. NC State is the closest team in terms of location.
Georgia and head coach Kirby Smart have some work to do in their recruiting class. The Bulldogs currently boast the 17th-ranked recruiting class in the nation with five commitments in total, including four four-stars and one three-star.
The Bulldogs have been in talks with several high recruits, though. Five stars such as Jordan Edmunds, Tyler Atkinson, and LaDamian Guyton visited Georgia’s Junior Day, with Atkinson even predicted to sign with the Bulldogs. They are also one of the two teams in the running for five-star quarterback Jared Curtis.
Ewetade is the No. 10 recruit in North Carolina in the 2026 cycle. The talented edge rusher is the No. 14 recruit at his position and the No. 151 recruit in the nation.
