The Arizona vs Arizona State rivalry football game in 2025 is moving back to a Friday.
The Big 12 Conference and the rival teams announced Friday that the annual Territorial Cup game between the Sun Devils and Wildcats, which was previously listed for either Friday, Nov. 28 or Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, would be played on Friday at Mountain America Stadium in Tempe.
The game was played on a Saturday in each of the past two seasons.
The Territorial Cup rivalry game date announcement was one of several Friday game announcements for the upcoming season made by the Big 12 on Friday, with the conference announcing 10 games to be played on Friday in the 2025 season.

Arizona, Arizona State football to each play two games on Friday in 2025
It was also announced that Arizona would host Kansas State in a non-conference game on Friday, Sept. 12 (the matchup was scheduled before Arizona left the Pac-12 for the Big 12) and that Arizona State would host TCU on Friday, Sept. 26.
The conference announced that network designations and kick-off times for the Friday games would be announced at a later date. ESPN and FOX are the Big 12’s television partners.
