CLEMSON — Clemson football added its seventh player in its 2026 class with the commitment of four-star offensive lineman Adam Guthrie on Friday.
The 6-foot-7, 285-pounder from Miami Trace High School in Washington Court House, Ohio, is rated as the No. 10 player in the state and the No. 20 offensive tackle nationally by the 247Sports Composite rankings.
In his junior season, Guthrie helped Miami Trace rush for 1,883 yards, according to Max Preps. He also played basketball for his school. He is the seventh player to commit to coach Dabo Swinney’s 2026 class, which is ranked No. 19 nationally. The Tiger class has three four-star recruits, three three-stars and one player who isn’t rated.
The offensive lineman chose Clemson over Georgia and Ohio State and announced his commitment on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Guthrie is the first recruit from Ohio in the 2026 class to commit to the Tigers. He is also the second incoming offensive lineman, joining three-star Braden Wilmes. The other four-star prospects in Clemson’s class are quarterback Tait Reynolds and cornerback Shavar Young Jr.
